Stillness

 

Under a starless night
On a high standing bridge
How appealing, is the river's sight
Dark, deep & unabridged

 

The soothing cold to freeze my pains
May death takes holds to mute my hell
Dispersing the poison from within my veins
Freeing my soul from its hollow shell

 

Too many disappointments
Turned suffocating torments
By repetitive abandonments
Scattering life into fragments
